This is a qualitative approach research, whose data were obtained through interviews with principals from seven public schools of SEDUC-SP. The school principals’ statements were analyzed and interpreted from the perspective of Laurence Bardin’s Content Analysis, and in the light of the literature on the subject. The results show that, among other elements, early student entry into the labor market is the main reason for dropouts in High School; however, the performance of school principals has been instrumental in reducing high dropout rates.
2021-01-10T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2020 Educação em Perspectivahttps://beta.periodicos.ufv.br/educacaoemperspectiva/article/view/9654The university pedagogy and teacher training for basic education2020-06-08T18:45:07-03:00Paulo Fioravante Giaretapfgiareta27@yahoo.com.brBeatriz Mussio Magalhães de Paulabiaamussio@gmail.comFlávia Moreira Ribeiro Ribeiroflavinhamorei@gmail.com
This article indicates some theoretical approaches regarding the possibilities and challenges for the consolidation of a university pedagogy for the college education of teachers to work in Basic Education. It is methodologically linked to the historical dialectical conception, using the Content Analysis technique (BARDIN, 2002). The research points to the theoretical-methodological achievements in the scope of the production of research on university pedagogy in the context of Brazilian higher education and to the difficulties overcoming the characteristics of a historical experience of university pedagogy in Brazil, setting a scenario of dispute between current pedagogical achievements and the technical-professionalizing, fragmented and utilitarian tradition of higher education.
2021-01-12T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2021 Educação em Perspectivahttps://beta.periodicos.ufv.br/educacaoemperspectiva/article/view/9779Does the order of the factors change the result?2020-09-08T15:27:27-03:00Ester Mendonça Ramosester_mendonca@hotmail.comMaria Auxiliadora Bueno Andrade Megiddoramegid@gmail.com
The article presents an investigation that used mathematical games proposed by the National Pact of Literacy at the Right Age (PNAIC). The objective was to analyze episodes related to the multiplicative field, referring to the game “A boot of many leagues”. The researcher's reflections are presented, alluding to the experiences provided by the use of the game. Field diaries, photographs, audio and video recordings were used. As a result, the analyzes on the approach of the multiplicative field indicate the potential of the use of pedagogical practices supported by games to expand the understanding of the referred content by the children, through the mediation of the teacher, which contributed to the resolution of the problem situation presented. Still, it was verified the importance of identifying the multiplier and the multiplicand, although the commutativity, present in the multiplication, does not change the result of the operation.
2021-01-15T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2021 Educação em Perspectivahttps://beta.periodicos.ufv.br/educacaoemperspectiva/article/view/9798Popular knowledge and Science Teaching2020-06-08T10:19:37-03:00Karine Arriaga Almerinikaherpeto@hotmail.comMarcelo D'Aquino Rosamarcelodaquino87@gmail.comJoão Vicente Alfaya dos Santossantosalfaya@gmail.com
Popular knowledge can be considered the raw gem of scientific knowledge. However, quite often the school environment does not offer due attention to the local culture, hindering the appreciation and even the learning of such knowledge by many students. The objective of this research is to survey the main popular beliefs in the municipality of Laguna, Santa Catarina. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was applied, in which 270 participants (including teachers, administrators and parents of students from public and private schools in Laguna SC) answered questions about popular beliefs and myths they know. 13 of the more frequently mentioned beliefs were raised and confronted with scientific knowledge about the topic. The elaborated survey aims at a better understanding of the so-called alternative knowledge which students may enroll in school being already aware of. As part of the results, in the final section, a philosophical reflection on everyday knowledge and pedagogical possibilities of this knowledge was sought.
2021-12-20T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2021 Educação em Perspectivahttps://beta.periodicos.ufv.br/educacaoemperspectiva/article/view/11862Race, class and gender2021-03-04T10:00:00-03:00Juliana Moreira Borgesjuborges13@yahoo.com.brDaniela Oliveira Ramos dos Passosddanipassos@gmail.comJosé Eustáquio de Britojoseeustaquio.brito@uemg.br
This article aims at reviewing the available literature on research papers investigating the education of ethnic-racial relations from the perspective of black families. This crosscut was extracted from articles in the “Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Educação” [National Association of Postgraduate and Research in Education] - ANPEd database, between the years 2011 and 2019. The descriptor terms used in the search were intersectionality; education; ethnic-racial relations. The study groups analyzed were GTs 03, 04, 07, 21 and 23, with greater use of GTs 07 and 21. The conclusion is that this work enabled a greater contact with available research, which granted familiarity with the field and with existing loopholes, which became clear in the course of this article.
2021-12-21T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2021 Educação em Perspectivahttps://beta.periodicos.ufv.br/educacaoemperspectiva/article/view/10579Experience as a mobilising process in professional development2020-09-09T14:19:46-03:00Pascal Roquetpascal.roquet@lecnam.netLuciano Rodrigues Costalrcosta00@gmail.com
Formative or professional experience can be used in many different ways to understand the construction of the professionalization process of a person, an activity or an organization. Our reflexion process will be based on a theoretical frame, who’s referring to experience and professionalization and a methodological frame resulting from the comprehensive approach. We will then present three levels of professionalization with specific examples (macro, meso and micro) that will allow us to grasp different conceptions and roles of experience during the professionalization process. So finally, this experience is a part of a lived temporality that refers to identity issues that are both formative and professional.
2022-07-03T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2021 Educação em Perspectiva
