Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the employment policies between the years 1995-2010, respectively, in governments of the Presidents Fernando Henrique Cardoso and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The theoretical framework used was the model of flexible accumulation, understood by briefly flexibility in work processes, markets, products and patterns of consumption. In general, it was noticed that the implemented employment policies are used as a tool to minimize the impact of general changes. They do not eliminate the contradictory nature of the social relations of capitalist production, but accentuate the logic of accumulation.

Doutoranda em Administração Pública e Governo pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EAESP/FGV) com créditos concluídos. Possui mestrado em Administração com ênfase em Administração Pública - Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV, 2010), concluído em 17 meses. Especialista em Gestão Estratégica (UFV, 2009) e Graduada em Secretariado Executivo (UFV, 2007). Foi professora substituta do curso de Secretariado Executivo da UFV, lecionando as disciplinas: Metodologia de Pesquisa, Gestão Secretarial e Empreendedora, Redação Empresarial, Técnicas e Tecnologia da Comunicação e Introdução ao Secretariado Executivo. Atualmente é doutorando em Administração na área de concentração Organizações, Gestão e Sociedade pela Universidade Federal de Lavras - UFLA.
