Panorama of National Scientific Production about Government Communication: theoretical foundation for the construction of new research

Management changes, new political ideologies, and the dynamics of information and communication technologies contribute to the rise of transformations within Public Administration. Among the challenges, there is the search for communication tools that lead to greater efficiency, reliability and accuracy. The society itself is increasingly demanding the accuracy of government information. Accountability is among the tools that fosters and disseminates correctitude. This article aims to analyze some Brazilian scientific papers on government communication in order to identify future study perspectives. The study is based on a survey of scientific papers published in major journals between 2007 and 2011.
