In this paper, we write about a special space that is generating rational motivations in intellectuals in these times of political crisis and partisan utopias: the solidarity economy. In this environment, we noticed the beginning of the implementation of human rights and democracy based on the materiality of both individual and shared experiences. In other words, if intellectuals do not live without utopias, solidarity economy is a solid ground for their reflections and practical actions. Human Rights and Democracy are the most referenced utopias. In this text, we advocate solidarity economy as our bias to channel our reflective energies built in those dreams, because there are people fighting for survival, people who made life and work choices, collectives in struggle, and subjects with hope into action.
