This article presents the experience report on the extension course Knowing the Health at School program in health promotion in the school environment. The course is part of the Practical Guide research project to help ESF teams practice the actions of the School Health Program (PSE), linked to the Professional Master's Degree in Health Education at UFRGS. The PSE is a program created in 2007 to promote health education in the school environment. The objective was to approach the practice experienced by health and education professionals on the actions of the PSE. This is a descriptive qualitative research, carried out from the records produced in the Moodle forums in which the course was carried out and from an online questionnaire built in Google Forms, answered at the end of it. It is concluded from the data that the extension course made it possible to bring together education and health professionals, as well as the exchange of knowledge and experiences between them.
