This experience report translates the experience of the initiative "I Cycle of Lectures and Debates: The Exercise of Hope in the Pandemic Period", idealized by Fiocruz/Piauí. The work aimed to invite several professionals, dialoguing about issues that touch the pandemic scenario of the Covid-19, offering reflections on possibilities of reinvention, support, fight, and resistance in face of the adversities of this period. The conversations took place in four monthly meetings, lasting approximately one hour. The present text aims at describing the actions of this extension, delimiting the paths, perspectives, mishaps, and successes encountered in this waiting period. To this end, the methodology consists of a narration of the work, as well as analyses carried out by means of the guests' speeches. It is concluded that spaces like this one, even if virtual, potentiate voices and bring about articulations in several spheres, promoting, in fact, the characteristics of a hope.
