Multivariate analysis was used to evaluate the effect of irrigations systems (central pivot, laser perforated tubes, dripping, net-sprinkle and control) on the soil water content, bulk density, total porosity and resistance to penetration, of soil under coffee plantation in the municipal district of Uberaba - MG,. The experiment was carried at Uberaba University (UNIUBE). Each demarked area was sampled to the depths of 0-10, 10-20 and 20-30 cm. The hierarchical cluster analysis showed that the overhead irrigation with central pivot and the drip irrigation formed a distinct group, while the net-sprinkle, control and laser perforated tubes remained individually separate. The control was practically similar the irrigation with laser perforated tubes. The principal components analysis showed that 73.2% of the information concentrated in one and two principal components. The soil physical attributes that reflect the effect of irrigation system were concentrated at the depth of 10-20 cm.Downloads
