Hydrological modeling is an important tool in the study of river basins, especially in relation to events of large variations in the level of watercourses. In this sense, it is important that the models reflect as accurately as possible the behavior of the hydrological processes, which strongly depends on the quality of the input parameters of the model. As it is not always possible to obtain adequate values for input parameters, it is essential to calibrate them in order to obtain a good model for the studied area. In this work the Distributed Hydrology Soil Vegetation Model was studied with the objective of proposing an automatic calibration tool for it, as well as verifying the efficiency of the Clustering Search (CS) heuristic for the hydrological model calibration problem. An application was also implemented to aid in the manipulation of the parameters to be calibrated and the results.Downloads
