The Covid-19 pandemic demands numerous measures to combat it, including the need to provide reliable information to the population. In this way, the online extension course “Covid-19: Conhecendo para se prevenir” was held. The objective in this work is to describe the profile of the participants and their assessment of the quality of the course offered to academics and external students. This is an observational and quantitative study with analysis of the percentages of responses obtained by field research based on online forms. In the responses, most participants identified themselves as female, students and from the city of Janaúba. Regarding quality, most indicated as excellent the dissemination, video and content quality, learning and chance to take another course. Only the sound was not rated mostly as great. The results showed the profile of the participants and the dominant approval in the analyzed aspects.
